Privacy Policy

Effective August 8, 2026 · FestRunner is a product of Good Minded, Inc. (United States)

This Privacy Policy explains how Good Minded, Inc. (“Good Minded,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with FestRunner, our festival-management platform (the “Service”). FestRunner is offered to customers in the United States.

Information we collect

How we use information

We use account, organizer, and participant information solely to provide and operate the Service for the festival organizer who collected it — managing records, schedules, budgets, tasks, and communications. Organizers are responsible for the participant information they enter and for having a lawful basis to collect it. We do not use that information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Cookies & advertising (marketing site only)

Our marketing site (festrunner.goodminded.org, where you're reading this) uses the Meta Pixel to measure how well our ads perform — for example, whether someone who saw a Facebook/Instagram ad went on to sign up. The Pixel is off by default and loads only after you accept the cookie banner on that site; if you decline, no Pixel or advertising cookie is set. If you accept, that same measurement continues for the one moment a new signup completes on app.festrunner.goodminded.org, so we can tell whether the ad led to a real account — the product itself runs no other ad tracker and no Pixel at all if you declined. See Meta's Privacy Policy for how it handles Pixel data, or opt out anytime by declining or clearing the consent cookie.

SMS / text messaging

FestRunner sends operational text messages (for example, schedule and shift reminders, logistics and gate information, and event notifications) only to festival participants who have opted in.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used only to deliver the messages the participant opted in to receive.

Message frequency varies and depends on event activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of SMS does not remove a participant from the event; other communication (such as email) may continue.

How information is shared

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service (such as cloud hosting and message/email delivery), under contracts that limit their use to providing those services. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell personal information, and — as stated above — we never share mobile numbers or SMS consent for third-party marketing.

Data retention & security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and as required by law, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Your choices

Participants can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information a festival holds about you, contact that festival organizer, or reach us using the details below and we will route your request appropriately.

Children

The Service is intended for organizers and adult participants and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the effective date above when we do.
